NotesThis article is not about baskets, as much as it is about woven plant materials used for many purposes. At Yaquina Bay, the Ahnkuti Site is a fish-trapping weir on Yaquina Bay, and the "basketry" here consists of twined structures that may have been weir panels or parts of cylindrical fish traps. Two other sites on Yaquina Bay are mentioned.
