NotesThis investigation focuses on growth and survival of Pacific razor clams, measuring clams from multiple sites. It tracks the length frequencies of clams recorded, as well as length-live weight relationships. This report also includes data on number of crab pots being fished between the Columbia and Siuslaw Rivers in April, 1952. 110 cases of Japanese oyster seed were imported into Coos Bay in March, 1952, and trucked to Alsea Bay for planting. Japanese oyster seed was a source for introduced species in Oregon. Table 11 (p.23) gives a rough list of species from Japan found among the oyster spat in Alsea Bay from the March, 1952 shipment.
