Notes | In 1931, Andreq J. Naterlin bought out Crad Meredith’s interest in the Newport Fish Company. The U.S. dredge “Savannah” was dredging the Yaquina bar in the summer of 1931, improving conditions, and optimists were hoping that the Depression would come to a quick end.
