Davis, of Corvallis, Ore., has received a shipment of thirty boxes containing 350 pounds each of Japanese oysters which he will transplant in his beds at Yaquina Bay, Oregon. The shipment came from the northern part of Japan and was shipped from Yokohama. … A shipment of eastern oysters from Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, for the beds of Davis & Toner at Yaquina Bay will arrive very shortly.” |
