NotesThis paper describes a private agreement between fishermen participating in a limited-entry commercial fishery for herring roe in Yaquina Bay. The co-operative formed by this agreement gives the fishermen greater flexibility, allowing them to fish when roe is likely to likely to be more abundnat, and the agreement "has proven resilient to widely fluctuating resource and market conditions..."
