NotesThe Biological Review Team concluded that "coho salmon in this ESU are not at immediate risk of extinction but are likely to become endangered in the future if present trends continue." The Team noted that "spawning escapements have declined substantially during this century and may now be at less than 5% of their abundance in the early 1900s." (p.128)
