NotesThis document is a report on shellfish investigations from April 1967 to March 1970. It includes the results of bay clam surveys for Yaquina, Siuslaw, and Umpqua bays, and harvest numbers for razor clams in both personal-use and commercial fisheries. This report also contains a summary of beach surveys for six razor clam beaches, and the results of two new methods of ragging razor clams. In crab work, the report discusses problems with tagging, condition sampling, and regulatory issues. The report discusses rearing of red abalone, federal programs for oysters, and concludes with a summary of work with intertidal nonfood animals.
