NotesDetails research done at the Yaquina Bay Fisheries Laboratory in 1950-51, and includes a photograph of the lab about 1950. The author successfully artificially induced spawning of Olympia oysters. Bacteria were adequate food sources for the oysters. Oysters that ingested radioactive bacteria became radioactive themselves. Includes microphotographs of oyster larvae.
